Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Locked In, LLC, doing business as Gutter Helmet of New England (“Gutter Helmet of New England,” “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses and shares information when you visit gutterhelmetne.com (the “site”), request a free estimate, or call us. It covers this site only. Other websites we link to, including the Gutter Helmet manufacturer’s site, have their own privacy policies.

The short version

  • When you request an estimate, we use what you tell us to contact you about your estimate and, if you hire us, to do the work.
  • Like most websites, this site uses cookies and Google tools to understand how people use the site, to measure which ads bring in estimate requests, and to show our ads to people who have visited.
  • We don’t sell your personal information for money.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by calling (800) 975-6666.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our estimate request form, we collect the information you enter, which includes:

  • your name, phone number, email address and service address;
  • how you heard about us;
  • the service you’re interested in; and
  • anything else you choose to tell us in the form.

When you call us, we collect the information you share on the call, such as your name, address and details about your home.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our website tools and the service providers described below automatically collect some information from your browser or device. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view and how long you stay, the website or ad that brought you here (including ad click identifiers), your approximate location based on your IP address, and actions you take on the site, such as tapping a phone number or submitting the estimate form. Much of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 9).

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to your estimate request, call you to schedule, and send a sales rep to your home;
  • provide, schedule and follow up on the work you hire us for, including billing and warranty paperwork;
  • answer your questions and provide customer service;
  • understand how people use the site so we can improve it;
  • measure how well our advertising works, including which ads lead to estimate requests and phone calls;
  • show our ads to people who have visited the site (remarketing);
  • protect the site and our form from spam, fraud and abuse; and
  • comply with the law and keep business records we’re required to keep.

3. Our estimate request form (Jobber)

Our estimate request form is provided by Jobber, the software we use to manage customer requests, scheduling and invoicing. When you submit the form, your information goes directly into our Jobber account so our office can follow up. Jobber processes this information for us under its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.getjobber.com/privacy-policy/

The form is displayed inside our page, but it’s run by Jobber. Jobber’s form may use its own tools, such as address suggestions powered by Google Maps and Jobber’s own analytics, and it may set its own cookies.

4. reCAPTCHA

Our estimate form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help block spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sends it to Google for analysis. This form is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms) apply.

5. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service from Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site: which pages they visit, how long they stay, and whether they request an estimate or tap to call. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, and it reports it to us in aggregate. You can learn how Google uses this information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the analytics and advertising tools on the site in one place. Tag Manager loads the tools described in this policy. Google may collect limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, when Tag Manager runs.

7. Google Ads: conversion tracking and remarketing

We advertise with Google Ads. When you arrive on the site from one of our Google ads, Google Ads conversion tracking uses cookies and similar technologies to tell us whether that visit led to an estimate request or a tap on our phone number. This helps us see which ads are working. We see these results as totals, not as information about you personally.

We also use Google Ads remarketing. This lets Google show our ads to people who have visited our site when they later use Google Search, YouTube or websites and apps that partner with Google. Google uses cookies and device identifiers to do this.

You can control the ads you see from Google, including turning off personalized ads, at https://myadcenter.google.com/. You can also opt out of many companies’ interest-based ads at https://optout.aboutads.info/ and https://optout.networkadvertising.org/.

Simpli.fi advertising

We work with an advertising partner that uses Simpli.fi, an advertising technology company, to show our ads on other websites and apps and to measure visits to our site from those ads. Simpli.fi sets cookies in your browser to do this. You can read Simpli.fi’s privacy policy at https://simpli.fi/services-privacy-policy and opt out at https://optout.simpli.fi/opt-out.

8. How we share information

We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run the business and the site, such as Jobber (requests and scheduling), Google (analytics, advertising and spam protection) and our website hosting provider. They may use information only to provide their services, and under their own privacy terms.
  • Gutter Helmet, the manufacturer. If you hire us, we may share the details needed to register your Gutter Helmet warranty.
  • Financing. If you apply for financing, the information you give goes to the finance company that reviews your application, under its own privacy policy.
  • Legal reasons. We may share information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
  • Business changes. If our business is sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who will be required to protect it as described here.
  • With your permission. We’ll share information in other ways only if you ask us to or agree to it.

We don’t sell your personal information for money, and we don’t share the details you enter in our estimate form with other companies for their own marketing.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This site and the services above use:

  • Necessary cookies that make the site and the estimate form work and help block spam (including reCAPTCHA);
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics that help us understand how the site is used; and
  • Advertising cookies from Google Ads (and, while it’s in use, Simpli.fi) that measure our ads and show our ads to past visitors.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, parts of the site, including the estimate form, may not work correctly. You can also use the opt-out links in sections 5 and 7. Our site doesn’t currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

10. How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and customer records for as long as we need them to respond to you, do and support the work, honor the warranty, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

11. Your choices and requests to delete your data

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you;
  • correct information that’s wrong; or
  • delete your information.

To make a request, call (800) 975-6666 during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM ET). Please tell us your name and the phone number, email or service address you used, so we can find your records and confirm the request is really from you.

When we get a deletion request, we’ll delete your information from our records, including your request in Jobber, and let you know when it’s done. We may need to keep some information if the law requires it, or if you’re a customer and we need it for a job, billing or your warranty. If so, we’ll tell you what we kept and why.

If you’d like us to stop contacting you about your estimate, just tell us and we will.

To limit what Google and other ad companies collect through cookies, use the opt-out links in sections 5 and 7 or your browser’s cookie settings. Those tools are controlled by those companies, so we can’t delete that data for you. You can also manage it through your Google account.

12. Children's privacy

This site is meant for homeowners and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

13. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, including a secure (HTTPS) connection on the site and access controls on our business accounts. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

14. Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, such as the Gutter Helmet manufacturer’s site and our Google reviews. We’re not responsible for how those sites handle your information. Please read their privacy policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our site or practices change. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
